In the tradition of the Thich Nhat Hanh, author and teacher Jeanie Seward-Magee, has practiced and taught mindfulness for many years as a way to live and enjoy the now. She has done this without financial gain. Jeanie is a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, volunteer, dharma teacher and public speaker. The author of two books on mindfulness, Jeanie brings her message to almost every one she meets. Jeanie has organized many mindful retreats and is a mindfulness mentor to several groups in Vancouver. To promote living peacefully in the now, Jeanie was the creator of a group to raise funds to support the message that the now is all we have and it behooves us to pay attention to how we use this “precious present”. The group is now an International Foundation with the goal that we all become kinder, more mindful and enjoy the gift of each present wonderful moment.
