Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Navi Gill is fluent in both English and her native languages of Punjabi and Hindi.
Professionally, Navi obtained her law degree with the BC Bar in 2003 and LLM degree in 2012. Navi has been practicing law for 11 years. In addition, she is dedicated to access to education and equality issues.
Navi has contributed at all levels of education. She created the “Stepping Up Program”, which enabled underprivileged elementary students to pursue academic excellence. Also, at the high school level, Navi sparked the “Leadership Program”, where she was a very influential mentor for South Asian female students. She has also devoted her time to other causes that include domestic violence issues.
Her personal interests include passion for travel, writing scripts, running, and meditation.
